Diploma in Marketing (ICM)

The Diploma level course concentrates on areas of study where administrative or managerial expertise is developed. Students seeking a career in Marketing must be in a position to understand the likely impact of internal and external factors and this course will seek to train students in these areas.

 

Programme Structure

The course is offered through classroom based instruction and is supported by coursework or classroom presentations to assess and aid the students' academic progress and development throughout the course.

The Diploma in Marketing addresses the following subjects:

1. Marketing Management

2. Customer Care and Service

3. Buyer Behaviour and Consumerism

4. Management Theory and Practice

5. Information Technology for Marketing Management

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. The Certificate in Marketing (ICM) or

2. CIM Certificate in Marketing or

3. HND/HNC or suitable BTEC National Award or

4. Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing management or

5. Any other qualifications equivalent to one of the above.
