Business Group Certificate

The purpose of the ‘Business Group Certificate’ is to provide students or those employed in industry or commerce with the opportunity to select subjects that they personally consider relevant to their particular future career. In essence, applicants may select 5 subjects to study from the 16 subjects listed below.

Programme Structure

Applicants may elect to take examinations in the 5 subjects upon completion of their course of study, for which they will receive the ‘Business Group Certificate’ from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) certifying that they have been examined in and passed the subjects that they chose to study. Candidates who complete the study of their chosen 5 subjects but who fail the examinations or who simply prefer to study the subjects without taking examinations will be provided with a ‘Certificate of Studies’ by London City College confirming the subjects that they have studied.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. 5 GCSEs or GCEs or
2. High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma or
3. Successful completion of a business course at a certificate level or
4. A minimum of three years’ work experience for applicants who are 21 years of age or over.
