Executive Diploma in Intl. Business Management

In the last few years we have witnessed dramatic changes in the field of management and business. New technologies have minimized distances, cultural differences are becoming less important and various political and economic actions are uniting nations. Managers are expected to operate on an international platform and even small businesses are becoming heavily involved in international trade. The purpose of this advanced course of the Institute of Commercial Management is to provide students with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to operate effectively as managers in an international business environment.

 

Programme Structure

 

Subjects

Compulsory subjects: 3
1. Strategic Marketing
2. Corporate Policy and Strategy (Case Study)
3. Management of the International Business

Optional subjects: 2
Two optional subjects must be selected from the following five subjects.
1. Human Resource Management
2. Import/Export Practice
3. International Business Communications
4. Finance of International Operations
5. International Marketing

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Diploma in Business Studies of ICM or
2. Diploma in Business Administration of LCC or
3. Diploma in International Business (ICM) or
4. Diploma in International Marketing (ICM) or
5. Advanced Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or
6. HNC or HND or Holders of Degrees in Business and related areas or
7. Other qualifications of similar level/standing to any of the above qualifications
