Programme Structure The programme of study has been divided into 3 academic terms in order to allow students to complete both DMS and MBA requirements in one academic year. The programme structure allows for a logical progression from one academic level to the next and the following structure is adopted.
Students will be awarded the Diploma in
Management Studies (DMS) upon successful completion of the first 9
subjects and will be accepted onto the University of Sunderland MBA
Top-Up. The Diploma in Management Studies is awarded by Edexcel and
is offered through Resource Development International (RDI). The
course structure and academic progression is summarised below.

1. Applied Research Methods for Business and Management 2. MBA Dissertation ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 1. First or second class UK Honours Degree (equivalent overseas qualifications will also be considered) or 2. Advanced Diploma in Business Administration of London City College, with 2 years work experience or 3. Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) 2 years work experience or 4. Other professional qualifications considered to be equivalent to any of the above qualifications or 5. Students must be able to prove that they are over 23 years of age and that they have 2-3 years of relevant work experience prior to applying for this qualification.
Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency in English. Acceptable tests are: a) IELTS 6.0. The test can be taken at the nearest British Council. b) TOEFL minimum score 600 is required. Other tests may be accepted at the discretion of London City College. |
